JP Corry Apprenticeship Programme

In September 2025, JP Corry launched its first-ever apprenticeship programme. Delivered in partnership with Springvale Learning, the Customer Service Apprenticeship provides participants with the opportunity to achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service while gaining valuable hands-on experience through on-the-job learning in our branches.
This programme demonstrates our ongoing commitment to developing future talent and providing meaningful career pathways within JP Corry.

Job Start Programme

JP Corry has proudly partnered with the Department for Communities since 2021 to deliver the Job Start Programme, helping attract, engage, and upskill individuals seeking careers within the construction and builders' merchant industry.
Between 2021 and 2026, we provided paid work placements for 16 successful applicants, offering valuable workplace experience and industry-specific skills development. Placements typically lasted between six and nine months, giving participants the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and build confidence in a supportive working environment.
The programme has delivered positive outcomes for both participants and the business, with up to 25% of Job Start participants securing permanent employment with JP Corry. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating opportunities, supporting local communities, and developing future talent within our industry.
 




Health & Wellbeing

The health and wellbeing of our people is of the utmost importance, with senior management continuously recognising the value of a healthy, happy workforce.

Across 2023, 2024 & 2025 we have teamed up with Cancer Focus to provide our staff across the branch network with an opportunity to avail of a free personalised health check a spart of their ‘Keeping Well Service’  Staff received advice on healthy lifestyle, cancer prevention, signs & symptoms, BMI check and blood pressure check. This service will be offered again in 2026.

 

In 2025, JP Corry achieved Diversity Mark Accreditation, recognising our commitment to creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. This independent accreditation reflects the meaningful steps we are taking to embed diversity and inclusion across every aspect of our business, from recruitment and career development to leadership and day-to-day operations.
