JP Corry is proud to provide the local community with more than just quality building materials.

Our branch network actively engage with their local communities because creating positive relationships with stakeholders is at the core of our ethos.

Our branches have a range of localised partnerships with sports clubs, community groups and youth organisations, and offer support through funding and sponsorships. Additionally, we seek to offer work placements to long term unemployed. Since 2018, we have supported 11 people in a range of work experience opportunities by working closely with The Princes Trust and local colleges.

We are proud to work in partnership with non-traditional skills training provider, Women's TEC. We are pleased to promote diversity in the workplace whilst also helping to reduce skill shortages in the Construction sectors. Our support encompasses material donations for workshops and volunteering to showcase successes and examples of women in construction.

We're delighted to partner with NOW Group, a social enterprise supporting people with learning difficulties and autsim into employment. Our support involves utilising Loaf Catering for corporate catering, sponsorships and customer service training for staff.

The JAM Card - which stands for 'Just A Minute' - is a pioneering initiative created by the NOW Group, a social enterprise supporting people with learning disabilities and difficulties into employment. The initiative allows those with communication barriers to discreetly tell others they simply need a  little more time, in a simple, effective, non-verbal manner. With customer needs at the forefront of our business, staff across our branch network have completed training, equipping teams with the skills and expertise to provide a consistent and welcoming customer experience. This further strengthens our promise to ensure an inclusive, friendly workplace where each and every customer feels at ease.
