JP Corry is proud to provide the local community with more than just quality building materials.

Our branch network actively engage with their local communities because creating positive relationships with stakeholders is at the core of our ethos.

Our branches have a range of localised partnerships with sports clubs, community groups and youth organisations, and offer support through funding and sponsorships. Additionally, we seek to offer work placements to long term unemployed. Since 2012, we have supported 17 people in a range of work experience opportunities by working closely with The Princes Trust and University of Ulster.

Youth Work
We have also had the opportunity to increase value to the local community by educating children on key global issues such as global warming. We continually engage with local schools through a range of fantastic initiatives, some of which are detailed below.

  • Learn to Read - Each week a JP Corry staff member donates 1 hour of their time to sit down and read to 2 children in a local primary school. This programme is essential on improving childrens literacy levels, as well as impacting their confidence and self-esteem.
