Charity Support
JP Corry is committed to supporting a range of local and international charities each year.
Our staff, customers and suppliers are passionate about charitable causes and are dedicated to raising funds for charities that make a real difference in the communities we serve.
Simon Community (2019–2023)
From 2019 to 2023, we proudly partnered with The Simon Community, supporting its mission to end homelessness across Northern Ireland. Throughout the partnership, our colleagues took part in a variety of fundraising and volunteering activities, including abseiling events and dragon boat racing on the River Lagan. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by our teams helped raise both awareness and vital funds for this important cause.

Cancer Fund for Children (2023–Present)
Since 2023, JP Corry has partnered with Cancer Fund for Children, whose vision is to ensure that no child or young person across Ireland faces cancer alone.
Over the past few years, our colleagues have been actively involved in supporting this vision through volunteering and fundraising activities. One of our first engagements was a staff visit to Daisy Lodge, the charity's purpose-built therapeutic centre, where volunteers gained first-hand insight into the incredible support provided to families affected by cancer.

More recently, our branches have hosted coffee mornings and participated in fundraising collections at Belfast's summer concert series throughout 2025 and 2026. Our football enthusiasts have also organised charity football matches, alongside many other successful fundraising initiatives.

Supporting Local Communities
In addition to our charity partnerships, JP Corry is committed to supporting local communities through fundraising, sponsorship and community engagement. We are proud to support local schools, sports teams and charitable organisations across Northern Ireland.
Some recent highlights include:
Cancer Focus NI – Charity Shop Showdown (2023 & 2024)
In 2023, colleagues from several branches completed a tandem skydive to raise funds in support of Cancer Focus
NI's Charity Shop Showdown in Limavady.

In 2024, Simon took on the incredible challenge of completing 10 parkruns in a single day to raise money for the Charity Shop Showdown in Londonderry.

Three Sisters Garden, Oakman Park
In September 2025, Lisa and Connor visited Three Sisters Garden at Oakman Park in West Belfast. JP Corry had donated materials during the early stages of the project in 2020, and the visit provided an opportunity to see the positive impact the garden continues to have within the local community. It also enabled the team to connect with like-minded organisations and explore future partnership opportunities.

Women’s TEC Summer Schemes
Summer 2025 saw another successful series of Women’s TEC Summer Schemes across Belfast, Kilkeel and Downpatrick. JP Corry was delighted to support the programmes by donating a range of materials for joinery sessions and other practical workshops held across all three locations.
Throughout the schemes, participants had the opportunity to develop new skills and gain hands-on experience by creating bird feeders, keyrings and planters, as well as trying their hand at mosaic tiling. To help bring these projects to life, JP Corry donated timber, fence boards, compost, grout and builders’ sand.
The summer schemes provided an engaging and supportive environment for the girls to explore careers and skills within the construction and trades sectors, while encouraging creativity, confidence and teamwork. JP Corry is proud to have played a part in supporting these inspiring initiatives and the next generation of talent.

Lecale Trinity Grammar School
In December 2024, our Downpatrick branch donated timber and boards to help create 16 tiling bays for Year 11 Occupational Studies students at Lecale Trinity Grammar School. Each student also received a toolbox, pencils and measuring tape to support their practical learning and skills development.

At JP Corry, we are proud of the difference our people make through their dedication to charitable causes and community initiatives, and we look forward to continuing this important work in the years ahead.
In addition to this, our staff are dedicated to supporting local community initiatives. As part of this commitment we are pleased to support local schools, football teams, and charities through fundraising, sponsorship and events.
