WHAT IS THE ROLE?
The HGV Driver is a key representative of our business, playing an important role in delivering our products safely, efficiently and with care to customers across residential and commercial sites. This is a customer-facing, multi-drop role where you will support the delivery of a reliable and high-quality service.

Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00 Fri 07.30 - 16.00 Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!
 
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Carrying out safe, timely and accurate deliveries to customers, aiming for “on time, in full” service
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and following all legal, safety and environmental requirements
  • Loading and securing vehicles safely, and supporting in the yard when required
  • Working with the branch team to plan efficient routes and support productivity
  • Providing a positive customer experience on every delivery
  • Supporting wider branch operations as needed, working as part of a collaborative team
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • A valid Class 2 HGV licence with CPC and tachograph compliance
  • A strong focus on safety and following procedures
  • A reliable and responsible approach to your work
  • A positive attitude towards customer service
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

If we receive a high number of applications, the following may be used to support shortlisting:
  • Previous forklift (FLT) experience (with or without a current licence)
  • Multi-drop driving experience
  • HIAB certification
