ABOUT THIS ROLE:
This sales and customer focussed job opportunity is an integral part of our organisation, helping to proactively grow our business whilst fully encompassing our customer 1st culture. Therefore, in this proactive role, customers must remain at the forefront of every action, ensuring sales are maximised by meeting and exceeding the needs of each individual customer.
 
Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00 Fri 07.30 - 16.00 Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!

 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  • Proactive outbound calls to customers including lapsed, dormant, declining and non-trading accounts.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, with the aim of retaining and developing accounts
  • Developing and nurturing accounts before passing them to field sales teams.     
  • After sales support.
  • Promoting group, regional and branch based campaigns.
  • Generating leads through various channels such as existing customers, new promoter scores and reports.

SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY BE/HAVE:
  • Proven telesales/proactive customer service experience.                                        
  • A passion for sales and customer service.                                                          
  • The ability to build rapport with new and existing customers.
  • Practised in working to targets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment.                                                          -
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Experience working in the building and timber supplies industry would be distinctly advantageous to an application.
