WHAT IS THE ROLE:
The Business Development Executive plays an important role in growing our business by building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a customer-facing role where you will represent our organisation, understand customer needs and help deliver the right solutions.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Identifying and developing sales opportunities across our full range of products
  • Preparing clear and accurate quotations that meet customer needs
  • Negotiating solutions that work for both the customer and the business
  • Keeping customer records up to date and using them to support effective sales activity
  • Sharing information with colleagues to maximise opportunities, solve problems and support decision-making
  • Ensuring customer accounts are managed in line with agreed credit terms
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and customer demands
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the wider team and business
 
 WHAT DO WE NEED FORM YOU?
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales role
  • Good knowledge of building materials and the construction market
  • Willingness to work across both field-based and office-based sales
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Awareness of Health and Safety practices
  • A strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience
  • Confidence using IT systems such as CRM platforms, Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication skills, including face-to-face, phone and written communication
