WHAT IS THE ROLE?
The Branch Administrator plays a key role in the success of our branch, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations behind the scenes and helping us deliver a strong customer-first experience.

This role connects teams across the branch, head office and our customers, so building positive and respectful working relationships is important. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels supported, valued and able to contribute.
 
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:00 with the requirement of working every other Saturday, from 08:00-12:00.
However, there can be flexibility with these times to suit the successful candidate.
 
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Managing customer accounts to ensure they are accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring the trading system is maintained accurately for stock inwards, inter-branch transfers and purchase orders
  • Maintaining paperwork and processes to support compliance with audit requirements
  • Supporting efficient use of resources within the branch
  • Helping the branch deliver a positive and consistent customer experience
  • Assisting with branch stock takes
  • Responding to incoming enquiries, such as proof of delivery requests
  • Advising customers on payment methods and account options
  • Resolving invoice queries in a timely and professional manner, working with the credit control team where needed
  • Supporting colleagues on the trade counter or shop floor during busy periods
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the wider team and business
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • Experience in an administrative or office-based role
  • Experience responding to queries in a professional and respectful way
  • A proactive and organised approach, with good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone and written interactions
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers

DESIRABLE (Not Essential)
