CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR - TOOL HIRE ASSISTANT

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

JP Corry, Isle of Man is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are. 

Branch opening hours are Mon - Fri 07.30 - 17.00 Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Performing delivery and collection of our hire products using a 3.5t vehicle and trailer, offering knowledge and demonstrations to customers on site

• Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop (full training will be provided)

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey

• To be responsible for personal and workplace health and safety and observe regulations in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act.

 

SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY BE/HAVE:

• Full driving license (manual transmission), held for more than 1 year

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

• Some mechanical knowledge would be an advantage

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Customer focused individual

• Basic IT Skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
