JP Corry participates in Business in the Community's 'Be A Saint' Day 2018

21 March 2018
Giving back to the community is a large part of our culture, and our employees once again demonstrated their support to local community organisations through participation in Business in the Community’s annual ‘Be A Saint ‘Day 2018

A number of our JP Corry employees were relieved off their normal roles and sent out to volunteer across Northern Ireland, as part of Business in the Community's annual 'Be A Saint Day. Tasks ranged from cleaning out barns for Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, to repotting plants for the Peoples Park in Ballymena.

Bryan Gourley, Timber Director with JP Corry, spent the day at Cancer Focus in Bangor, helping them with stock replenishment and serving customers, while Louise Owens Sales Representative with Castlereagh walked dogs, cleared out stables and helped out with odd jobs at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary. Fantastic work!!

Ian McNeilly, Yard foreman for the Ballymena Robert Guy Branch learning how to repot plants for the Peoples Park in Ballymena, Ian spent the day with a number of other employees in other businesses helping with park maintenance. Great Job Ian!
