JP Corry awarded for Environmental Excellence

In an effort to develop business in a sustainable, ethical and responsible manner, JP Corry has been awarded for driving environmental improvements across their business. 


JP Corry’s Springfield Road and Castledawson branches have been awarded the leading environmental certification, ISO14001. This accreditation demonstrates JP Corry’s pledge to reducing their environmental impact to ultimately improve their environmental management efforts. 

In addition, JP Corry’s Doors & Washrooms department have been accredited with a Safe-T-cert award, demonstrating the department’s responsibility towards health and safety management.

JP Corry Group Operations Manager, Chris Collins is delighted to be recognised for a strong commitment to high environmental and safety standards. He said: 

“With an increased emphasis on sustainable development, it’s crucial we effectively manage our environmental impact and have efficient safety management systems in place, to ultimately improve our business operations. These certifications demonstrate our commitment to operating responsibly, whilst ensuring our customers get a reliable, quality product and service.”

Achieving these standards has many benefits for JP Corry including waste reduction, improved resource efficiency and providing increased customer and stakeholder trust.

What is ISO 14001?
ISO14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organization can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements.

What is Safe-T Cert?
Safe-T Cert is a third party accredited health and safety management scheme developed by the Constriction Employers Federation (CEF). It verifies and validates a firm’s safety management system. It is based on ‘best practice’ requirements for international and national bodies.
