JP Corry expands its Belfast offering

13 June 2016

JP Corry has announced plans to strengthen its presence in Belfast with the opening of a new branch in Andersonstown, West Belfast. The expansion represents significant investment by the company and will take the total number of branches to 16.

The new premises, located on the busy Andersonstown Road, will stock a wide range of DIY and building products. Customers visiting the branch will benefit from its 7 days a week access and evening opening hours, as well as a local delivery service.

The new store strengthens JP Corry’s product offering for their existing customers whilst the strong focus on DIY brings convenience to consumers.

Six new jobs have been created, including a branch manager, yard operatives, admin support and sales assistants.

Connor Mallon, Branch Manager explains: “The new store sits on the busy Andersonstown Road which represents huge potential for us, and with our flagship branch a few miles away we will be able to service the entire West Belfast area.”

“The new location is easily accessible so we hope to serve the neighbouring area’s DIY needs as well as those of our trade customers” he added.

Ciaran Mc Connell, JP Corry Managing Director said: “This investment shows our commitment to the local area with the creation of new jobs and increasing our branch network to 16 in Northern Ireland”.

The new branch is expected to open in August 2016.
