Colin Connect Transport Hub, Belfast

Introduction

JP Corry showcased their commitment and ability to work closely with suppliers and customers at the Colin Town Transport Hub project, an impressive scheme that is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland.

A key element of the wider Belfast Rapid Transit project, Colin Connect Transport Hub is a state-of-the-art-facility, designed to improve accessibility & connectivity with other parts of Belfast. The innovative development becomes the first shared use transport & community hub in Northern Ireland.

A long-established relationship with main contractor FORRME  made JP Corry the perfect supply partner. Tasked with providing a range of materials to the project, JP Corry worked closely with Kingspan and Resistant Building Products to source and supply the Styrozone, multi-pro and MP XS Boards specified for the job.

"We utilised our own in-house civils team for the polyfelt geotextiles before utilizing our extensive stocks to supply timber, plywood and other day-to-day materials" explained Owen Downie, Sales Co-ordinator at JP Corry.

The new £2.4 million Transport Hub is the first phase of the larger Colin Town Centre Masterplan, intended to create a dynamic and sustainable centre for the area.
