JP Corry’s Isle of Man branch is celebrating a well-earned success story in Jonny Bignall as Branch Manager - and he’s already making a big impact.

Having worked at the branch for the past three years, Jonny’s promotion has marked the beginning of a new era of growth and positivity. Since taking on the role, the branch has experienced a remarkable 25% uplift in figures compared to the previous year, with 40% growth between January-June. These figures are even more impressive considering the branch has had a slow start to the financial year.

But Jonny’s impact goes beyond the numbers. With a strong focus on customer experience, he’s led with initiative and vision, introducing a new landscaping display to enhance the in-branch experience, creating ‘builders packs’ for sale at the counter to drive multiline transactions and expanding the branch’s outreach across the island. His drive to build stronger customer relationships and broaden the service offering has helped grow the customer base significantly, especially with customers who haven’t traded in branch before. To put this into numbers, from January to June this year, the

sales from the new customers trading with the branch are worth an impressive half a million pounds.

Colleagues say Jonny has truly stepped up, bringing the whole team with him. Under his leadership, staff morale is high and the branch who were not in line for bonus this time last year, have now activated bonus in all categories. July is not over yet but the pace is clear- the Isle of Man branch will push well beyond the finish line.
