ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Our teams in Coleraine & Portadown, are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Trade Counter Salesperson who prides themselves on delivering first class service and who can really make difference. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for contributing to and exceeding customer expectations, whilst supporting the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Serve customers at our trade counter.
  • Provide realistic quotations to satisfy customer needs.
  • ‚ÄčNegotiate the best possible deals which satisfy both our customers’ and company requirements.
  •  Merchandising in our trade centre.
  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Support sales related administration tasks.
  • Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary.
SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY:
  • Have proven experience within a face to face sales and customer service based role.
  •  Passionate about delivering a first class customer service experience and know what great service looks, sounds and feels like.
  • Proficient in the use of IT and have good computer literacy and telephone skills.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to be a real team player.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of the construction / building materials industry.
