Tulipwood is the greenish yellowish wood yielded from the tulip tree, found on the Eastern side of North America and also in some parts of China.
Tulipwood is very strong for its weight and is ideal for laminated beams and structures. Construction, furniture, interior joinery, kitchen cabinets, doors, panelling, mouldings, edged-glued panels, plywood, turning and carving. A versatile timber that is easy to machine, plane, turn, glue and bore.
