The 'Together' Programme

‘together’ is a unique partnership between employees, customers, suppliers, friends and family across all Saint-Gobain Building Distribution brands. Since it was launched in 2002 it has raised more than £1.7million and helped make a positive difference to the lives of thousands of people. Charities it has supported include Great Ormond Street Hospital, Wish Upon a Star, Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and most recently Help the Hospices.

The 2 year partnership with Help the Hospices came to an end at the start of May 2011 and Saint-Gobain companies worked together to raise over £300,000 for the charity.

Our new charity partnership with Barnardo's will be launched with a 'Go Green' week on the 23rd May. Barnardo’s has been changing lives for the past 145 years. Established in 1866 by Dr Thomas Barnardo, the charity initially provided homes for the destitute children living on the streets. Although the charity no longer runs children's homes it continues to support the most disadvantaged, vulnerable and neglected children covering issues such as; poverty, homelessness, disability, young carers, foster care/adoption, education/skills, exploitation and abuse. JP Corry staff will be taking part in various activities to raise money for this very worthy cause.  We will keep you posted of any upcoming events!
